天蓝海阔，秀美厦门。10月31日，由住房城乡建设部、联合国人居署、福建省人民政府共同主办的“2016世界城市日论坛”在福建省厦门市举行。住房城乡建设部副部长易军、联合国人居署副执行主任艾莎·卡西拉、福建省人民政府副省长洪捷序、南非住房部副部长佐蔻塔·弗雷德里克以及厦门市副市长张毅恭致辞。来自中国、美国、英国、德国等近20个国家、地区和国际组织的官员、市长、专家学者共300多人出席了论坛，并共同签署发表了《城市发展厦门倡议》。
