Welcome: Urban Dialogue on Regional Priorities for Housing and Urban Development

From 16 to 20 March 2016, individuals and organizations interested in housing and urban development issues, and not in a position to participate at the Habitat III Europe Regional Meeting (or participating but would also like to provide inputs online) were invited to contribute to this discussion on the topic of the Regional Meeting being held in Prague from 16 to 18 March. During this one-week online discussion, participants were encouraged to discuss how to ensure access to decent, adequate, affordable and healthy housing for all, while reducing the impact of the housing sector on the environment. Participants also had an opportunity to discuss urban planning in the region, as well as an opportunity to provide meaningful insight into the way the cities of the future should be governed and shaped.
