Werner Spec

Werner Spec, Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH) (German university degree in public administration), lord mayor of Ludwigsburg (93 000 inhabitants) since 2003. Prior to this he was city treasurer and director of public utilities and city-owned enterprises in Sigmaringen (until 1992) and Ulm (until 1996), then financial mayor (1996 – 1998) and later lord mayor (1999 – 2003) of Calw. His main activities: the entire framework of sustainable city development, generation-fair financing, economic development, culture, as well as the energy and housing industries.
