Ali Khan

Ali Khan is an economist of education (Msc Applied Economic Sciences, University of Antwerp). He’s always been drawn to more social causes and he spent his professional life more in the socio-economic sector. First for the City of Antwerp in Belgium where he worked to tackle youth unemployment. Then he worked for EUROCITIES labour market activation policies. He has now been with the European Foundation Centre for more than three years where he leads the organisation thematic working groups on more than 15 areas, including disability rights, environmental issues and sustainable urban development. Furthermore he sits on the board of two NGOs in Belgium, which deal with the issues of inclusion of young people and tackling youth unemployment.
