Urban Stage Venue: Urban Stage- Habitat III Official Band – The Nick Horner Family.
The Nick Horner Family features an oscillating cast of characters throughout the folk, jazz, rock and creative music world centering around NYC-based vocalist, songwriter and producer Nicholas Horner (USA). He works regularly with many grammy-winning producers and engineers including Ron Allaire (Pantera, Keith Richards) and Jon Rosenberg (John Zorn, James Moody) as well as New York's up-and-coming musical talent. He is also as founder and producer of Porch Stomp, a non-profit dedicated to the advancement of folk music throughout New York City and serves as resident visual artist for Pennsylvania-based jazz label Corner Store Jazz (operated by legendary jazz drummer Phil Haynes). Horner has previously worked at the prestigious Interlochen Center for the Arts and attended the Banff Centre's Jazz and Creative Music Workshop.

For Habitat III, the Nick Horner Family features Lucas Chohany and Rob Ritchie on mandolins/guitars, Zoe Guigueno on bass and Nathan Blankett on drums.
Guitarist/Producer Rob Ritchie (Canada) is fluent in a range of styles and genres. He has played sold out shows at many of the New York's best known venues and toured North and South America, Europe and Australia. Rob has worked with with Dolores O’Riorden of the Cranberries, Zack Williams of the Lone Bellow, Andy Rourke of the legendary UK rock band The Smiths, The Last Royals, Boz Boorer, Ron Pope, and many others. Rob’s original music was featured in the Film “Silent House" and he has recorded commercial music for film and television. Rob has been awarded grants/funding from the Canada Council for the Arts, Banff Centre for the Arts, and the Ina Rowe Music Scholarship Fund. He currently composes, records and produces music in his home studio in Brooklyn, NY.
Lucas Chohany (USA) is a guitarist/singer based in Baltimore, Maryland specializing in traditional American music including old-time, bluegrass, and jazz. He has toured with the world-renowned April Verch Band, as well as with current projects include String Sound, Uncle Baltimore, and Baltimore Swing Drop.

Zoe Guigueno is an upright bass player who has been recording and touring internationally for the past eight years. A graduate of the jazz program at Humber College in Toronto, Zoe is originally from the west coast of Canada. She now makes her home in New York City.
Drummer and percussionist Nathan Blankett (Israel) started playing drums at age 13 and quickly immersed himself in the local jazz scene. In 2010 he relocated to the USA to pursue his studies in music, while touring the world with various projects such as the Ehud Ettun Trio, Nick Horner Family, Mob Job, and more.
