From Quito to the Grassroots: The Grassroots Leaders Project

The Habitat III Secretariat has launched a pilot project to bring grassroots leaders to the Habitat III Conference in order to ensure that the grassroots constituency is heard in Quito and to link these community ambassadors with other actors in the implementation of the New Urban Agenda. They will be invited to report back on progress at the next World Urban Forum. This event will invite these leaders to reflect on their experiences in Quito and to discuss how grassroots leaders can mobilize the implementation of the New Urban Agenda at the local level.
