The Conference Report

The Habitat III Conference and the city of Quito, Ecuador, welcomed 30,000 participants from 167 countries. The three-year Habitat III Preparatory Process and the Conference culminated with the adoption of the New Urban Agenda – a new vision for sustainable urban development for years to come, in Quito.

This publication provides an overview of the event, details of all sessions, ceremonies and special events, as well as the Habitat III Village or the services and operations offered to the over 30,000 Conference participants.
