Civic Engagement – Tel Aviv
Welcome to the Urban Dialogues on Civic Engagement – Tel Aviv Thematic Meeting. The e-discussions for this dialogue took place from 24 August to 2 September, 2015. During this period, individuals and organizations discussed particular issues and ideas on the topic of civic engagement.
This consultation provided a platform to encourage participants to share their voices. Their invaluable contribution and participation enriched the ongoing Habitat III participatory process, opening minds and forging creative dialogues on sustainable urban development.
Our Thematic Meeting debated priorities for the New Urban Agenda and delivered policy recommendations in the form of a final declaration. Comments generated by the online discussions prior to the event aimed to validate the Concept Paper of the meeting and to inform the Tel Aviv Declaration. Results of the online discussions were also shared with the relevant policy units.
