Informal Intergovernmental Meetings 7–10 SEPTEMBER 2016, New York

The decision was taken during the Third Session of the Preparatory Committee (PrepCom3) to convene informal intergovernmental negotiations at the UN Headquarters in New York. Following this decision, informal intergovernmental meetings took place on 7–10 September 2016 to negotiate the Surabaya Draft of the New Urban Agenda.

These negotiations resulted in the Agreed Draft of the New Urban Agenda, for adoption at the Habitat III Conference in Quito.
