Sinisa Trkulja
SerbiaSiniša is spatial planner in the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Sector for Spatial and Urban Planning in Belgrade, Serbia. Before he had worked in the National Agency for Spatial Planning and as assistant lecturer at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Geography, Department for Spatial Planning. As consultant he worked for UN Habitat in the framework of Settlement and Integration of Refugees Program in Serbia and in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the elaboration of the Spatial Plan for Republika Srpska. He completed PhD under double tutorship of professors from University of Belgrade in Serbia and from Paris Institute of Technology in France, with the topic of comparative planning. His master’s degree was the UNESCO Unitwin Chair for integrated spatial planning and sustainable development. The academic studies prior to master degree that he had started at the University of Belgrade in Serbia, he finished at the University Paris IV-Sorbonne in France. His fields of expertise are international cooperation in the field of spatial planning, national urban and territorial policies and their implementation and monitoring.
