Nadia Bakhurji

Nadia Bakhurji is the owner and the President of Nadia Bakhurji Architectural & Interior Design Consultants Firm (NBA) based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She holds a Bachelor Degree (BSC) from King Faisal University from the College of Architecture and Planning (1989). Nadia started her Architectural and Interior Design career in 1989 with the establishment of Riwaq of the Kingdom Est. (ROK) offering architectural and interior design consultancy services for Residential and Commercial projects. In 1996 Nadia formed a partnership with HRH Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz thus expanding ROK capabilities and services to serve the hospitality, medical, education and corporate sectors. ROK became known nationally and internationally for high quality and highly creative work both within the architectural and interior design fields winning several design competitions for various projects in KSA. Nadia has formed International Joint Ventures with HKS from the United States, Expanish from Spain, and Vahanen from Finland. Nadia was awarded A Chevening Fellowship from University College (London-2006), and awarded the Arab Women’s Excellence Award for Excellence in Architecture and serving the engineering sector (Dubai-2012).
