Mikael Atterhög

Mikael Atterhög is Senior Programme Specialist and the Thematic Coordinator for the Strategy for Environment and Climate Change at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). Mikael has more than ten years experience of coordinating Sida’s support to multilateral initiatives and dialogue with international organisations on Urban Development such as UN-Habitat. Mikael has also six years working experience at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia-Pacific in Bangkok and as a Human Resources Development consultant to the Government of Vietnam. For more than ten year, Mikael worked as an Associate Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm as a Director of Studies, lecturer and researcher. Mikael holds a PhD in Real Estate Economics from KTH and a Master’s in Quantity Surveying.
