Marina Joseph

Marina Joseph is Programme Coordinator at Youth for Unity and Voluntary Action (YUVA) India. She has been working on issues of urbanization, urban poverty, right to housing and basic services in informal settlements in India. She is a campaigner for people’s rights in urban spaces, focusing on participation and inclusion in urban planning and governance. Marina also works on projects to develop safe and sustainable habitats for children and youth living in informal settlements. She has published articles and reports on urban equity issues in India. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
