David Suttie
Policy Analyst International Fund For Agricultural Development (IFAD) United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern IrelandDavid Suttie has worked for the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) since 2010, mostly as Policy Analyst focusing on the themes of rural youth employment, migration, rural-urban linkages and family farming. He previously worked at the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where he co-authored publications and policy briefs related to gender dimensions of rural employment. He has also been employed as a Visiting Lecturer in Sustainable Development at University of Rome Tor Vergata and as a Capacity Building Officer working with migrants on the Thai-Myanmar border. He holds postgraduate degrees in Development Economics, Sustainable Development and Rural Change, as well as an undergraduate degree in Economics.
