Head Of Strategy & Partnerships For Cities And Regions ENGIE FranceBertrand Bénichou joined Gaz de France in 2003 as an economist supporting the negotiations of long term gas supply contracts. He held various positions in the group’s energy business, including chief of staff for the group Executive Vice President in charge of the Global Gas & LNG business line, a 6-months mission in Latin America to redesign the group’s gas strategy in the region, and reviewing internal transfer pricing between ENGIE’s European business entities. In 2013, Bertrand took over gas negotiation support within Long Term Gas, to lead the effort to redesign ENGIE’s gas supply portfolio, both though bilateral negotiations with suppliers and through arbitration proceedings. In January 2016, he was appointed head of Strategy, Partnerships and Institutional Relationships within the newly created “Decentralized Solutions for Cities and Regions” transverse métier. Bertrand Bénichou is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique, Telecom ParisTech, and holds a post-graduate degree in Probability Theory.
