Ayat Soliman
Practice Manager The World Bank Group EgyptAyat Soliman is a Practice Manager in the Middle East and North Africa Region, where she covers a variety of issues ranging from local service delivery and citizen engagement, to lagging regions and territorial development, support to refugees and host communities, youth inclusion and supporting reconstruction. Prior to this, she was a Program Leader for Sustainable Development in Central America focusing on disaster risk management, logistics, agriculture and crime and violence. Ayat joined the Bank in 2000, she holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the American University in Cairo, and lives with her husband and three children in Washington D.C.
