A United Nations Task Team (UNTT) for Habitat III was established in January 2015 to mobilize the United Nations system as a whole within the work towards the adoption of the New Urban Agenda and the Conference itself. More than 40 United Nations agencies, funds and programmes have been part of this effort.
As part of the legacy of the Habitat III Conference, the United Nations Task Team meeting in June 2017 will mainly focus on reflecting on lessons learnt during the process, as well as identify priority actions and collaboration areas in the implementation of the New Urban Agenda in the United Nations system.
