Habitat III National Urban Forum in the Czech Republic was organised in conjunction with the Habitat III Regional Meeting for Europe & North America that took place in March 2016 in Prague and provided a contribution to the New Urban Agenda.

The aims of the National Urban Forum were:

• To discuss the Implementation of The Charter on Sustainable Housing and The 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development in the national context
• To identify the main problems and challenges for the urban development in the near future and search for answers/solutions to the main urban development problems with the emphasis on the discussion of the use of national and European instruments for the urban development.
