Architect and urban planner with graduation and doctorate degree from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Academic experience in the area of green biocomposites development for applications in sustainable construction and furniture industry. Further research work on electromagnetic wave absorbing materials for defense and telecommunications applications.

Experience as a consultant on product design and manufacturing processes for plant-based panels and as director of research and development for a natural wall covering panel industry. Currently holds a position as science and technology analyst for the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, where is responsible for conception and implementation of the Technologies for Sustainable Cities Program.
