David Suttie

David Suttie has worked for the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) since 2010, mostly as Policy Analyst focusing on the themes of rural youth employment, migration, rural-urban linkages and family farming. He previously worked at the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where he co-authored publications and policy briefs related to gender dimensions of rural employment. He has also been employed as a Visiting Lecturer in Sustainable Development at University of Rome Tor Vergata and as a Capacity Building Officer working with migrants on the Thai-Myanmar border. He holds postgraduate degrees in Development Economics, Sustainable Development and Rural Change, as well as an undergraduate degree in Economics.
