During this event we will launch the Finance for City Leaders Handbook, a publication prepared with collaboration from several institutions and partners of UN-Habitat. The handbook is intended for municipal authorities, technical staff of municipalities, and urban development practitioners. The objective of organizing this event is to present through this handbook innovative solutions for improving municipal finance, showcasing best practices for improving and sustaining municipal finance, and discussing and disseminating lessons learned from case studies in a diverse set of developing and developed countries.
