Mircea Steriu

Before joining UITP, Mr. Steriu was a Communications and Projects Officer at the European Transport Safety Council in Brussels, Belgium where he coordinated the dissemination of activities on a wide range of programs. He was involved in the Road Safety Performance Index or PIN project that ranks European Union member states' performance on key road safety topics and manages the BIKE PAL project which analyses the safety of cyclists across Europe. Mr. Steriu holds an M.A. degree in European Politics and Policies from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and B.A. degrees in Political Science and Journalism from the American University in Bulgaria.
