Kinlay Dorjee

Mayor Of Thimpu Bhutan

Kinlay Dorjee is currently the Mayor of Thimphu, Bhutan. He is the first elected mayor for Thimphu, and has embarked on various urban planning projects. Prior to this, Mayor Dorjee was formerly the General Manager of the Bhutan Power Corporation. As Mayor, Mayor Dorjee has planned to outline development initiatives; in February 2013, he endorsed a Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) Strategy to improve urban sanitation and hygiene for Thimphu City.
