Leading up to the Global Forum on Human Settlements, Habitat III, is the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the 170 countries participating in the process.
Differing significantly from prior goal setting efforts, the SDGs will each have specific metrics — indicators — to better ground the process of improving cities and towns across the globe. The current draft and metrics may be found here.
