The Urban Stage was a platform for launching the commitments to the Quito Implementation Plan of the New Urban Agenda. It featured innovative plans, projects, and other initiatives that have arisen from national and local governments, stakeholders, and partnerships of different organizations for the implementation of the New Urban Agenda.
As of the conference, around 100 commitments cumulatively from the Urban Stage and the Quito Implementation Plan’s online platform have been submitted.

High-level roundtables were forums that provided opportunities for heads of states, ministers, and government officials as well high-level representatives from stakeholders, IGOs, and UN bodies to discuss and make commitments towards the key issues and themes of sustainable urbanization.
